How can you tell it's bad?
it has white clumps growing on it.
oh cool, I threw away my dried apricots a few weeks ago, but I wasn't sure they were bad. They just looked different than they did before.. What kind of fruit did you have? Was the white stuff mold?
well, it was either mold or crystallized chemicals? jon threw away some apricots i wanted to eat cuz they were a very dark color. there were only a few left, so i wanted to finish them before starting the new bag, but he made me start the new bag instead.
Yeah, I think mine got really dark too! I didn't think they could go bad..
yeah! that's why i was so disappointed. and i had to throw out some prunes b/c they were definitely moldy. bah.
